NaNoWriMo 2012

NaNoWriMo–National Novel Writing Month. A yearly challenge for writers. Write 50,000 words or 500 pages within the month of November. Who’s up for it this year? is where you need to go for more information! I ain’t here to spoon-feed you. If you already know what it is, then I don’t need to summarize. And if you want to know more, then you have enough Internet access and motivation to read about it on their official website.

I have done NaNoWriMo every year since and including 2008. Yes, even with school. It’s honestly really hard. But you should do it. Yeah, I’m a few days behind on posting this, but crap happens. Been busy NaNoing it up.

The general word goal per day is 1,667. I normally get behind later in the month (if I don’t start off that way…), so I’m taking the initiative to start off way ahead.

My word counts thus far are the following:
November 1st: 2,375
2nd: 2,078
3rd: 1,836

I’m probably going to add more to today’s stuff since I’m not ready to sleep yet, so the count for the 3rd is going to be a bit low. But still. See? I’m starting off on a good foot.

If you haven’t started yet, it’s not too late to catch up. Don’t lose hope!

How’s your word count going?
