Rejection II

Rejection is tough. Especially when your talent is literally insulted in the rejection. Ouch. It sucks. It’s the worst feeling.

It’s okay to cry and be upset. But you have to keep going. I’m still trying to figure out how to do that myself.

It’s natural to think that you suck, that you’re never going to be good enough. But it’s just not true. You have to look at that rejection letter and tell it that you’ll prove them wrong someday, and they’ll be sorry they didn’t accept you.

Find new avenues. There are so many options for writers out there that it’s just shameful to give up after one rejection.

Keep moving forward.
