Write a story in which a character is supportive of their friends, but their friends don’t return that same kindness. How do they overcome the pain that this creates? Do their friends realize what they’re doing and just don’t care? Or are they unaware that they are hurting their friend? Does the protagonist get their friends to treat them as friends should? Or does your protagonist learn that the only person they can depend on is themselves?
