Apologies

Hello, lovely followers!

Welcome, new folks!

And to all of you, thanks for returning day after day!

I really appreciate every single one of you, and it makes me really happy to see people interacting with my prompts these days.

But I’d also like to apologize for some things, partly because I’ve lost a few followers the past few days. So I figure that if I’m losing followers, then I’m probably doing something wrong.

If you’re bothered by a lack of quotes, I’m sorry for that. It’s difficult to consistently find new quotes that I haven’t already used, and I do want to keep this Tumblog single-topic, so until I find new relevant quotes, there won’t be any quotes. But I’m on the hunt and will post them when I find them.

If you’re bothered by a lack of inspirational posts, I’m sorry for that as well. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on these days–I’m a grad student right now. I don’t always have a lot to say. I type them when I feel like there’s something I want to talk about. I’ve been stewing on some ideas for upcoming posts, so look forward to seeing those once I’ve gotten them fleshed out.

If you’re bothered by the writing prompts, I’m sorry, but this is a writing blog, and I think it’s important to write a little bit every day. If you don’t want to see stuff about writing in your dashboard, then you’re not really in the right place. And that’s okay. Everybody has different tastes.

If you’re bothered by any of these things or anything else, please do let me know. I want to make sure this Tumblog is interesting and useful, and the best way to do that is to get feedback from the people who are reading it.

If you aren’t sure about any of this at all, I encourage you to look back at my previous posts–I currently have over 400 posts on this Tumblog. In other words, I have a lot more writing stuff if the one post per day isn’t enough for you.

Please give me feedback if you have anything at all to say. I’d love to hear from you, and I hope you’re enjoying your time here. 🙂
