Hi, folks! I just posted something about suicide prevention. But with that, I’d really like to mention something important.

I’m someone who is extremely sensitive in a lot of ways.

If you need someone to talk to, then please don’t hesitate to ask!

If you have any of these particular issues and need to mention them in your message to me, then please just warn me before you go into details! I don’t mind reading stuff that I’m sensitive to; however, I request that you be sensitive to my needs and just say something like, “Warning: I’m going to talk about [sensitive topic ###].”

That’s all I ask! I won’t be mad if you forget or don’t know. But that’s me kindly requesting that.

The following things are topics I’m particularly sensitive about:

  • needles
  • claustrophobia
  • OCD
  • cutting (Most other self-injury doesn’t need a warning before it)
  • breathing problems
  • sexually threatening incidents (Yes, that includes someone implying or directly stating that they want to do sexual things to you that you will not consent to)
  • pretty much any sharp object if it’s in relation to skin
  • fire
  • animal abuse/mistreatment
  • cannibalism? (Okay, I guess I’m stretching it there. I’m probably done)

Okay! That about covers it! I know that seems like a lot, but I have anxiety and depression and OCD and a variety of other problems.

Please don’t let this list scare you away!

I seriously will be okay if you talk about these things as long as you warn me first.

And if you forget because stressed and/or freaked out or anything? That’s okay. Please just try to keep it in mind if you are able to.

I love each and every one of you. I value you and your life and your right to live happily and safely.

Please don’t take that for granted. I am here. <3 *hugs*

((Note: I tried to tag as much as possible in case people using Tumblr Savior or anything like it need to avoid these topics. Please let me know if there is a tag that you think I should add for whatever reason.))
