I want more characters with ridiculous quirks. My favorite part of making characters is burdening them with ridiculous hobbies or habits. Give me characters who lose track of their thoughts every time they see the moon. Give me characters that tear up whenever they’re in the presence of live chickens. Stop making characters that are ONLY broody. Round them out by making them broody AND being unable to resist doing any ridiculous, illegal, or violent action if it means they get their favorite dessert. Let your characters live a little.
