It’s okay to give up on things.
Sometimes it is when we finally let go that we realise that holding on to a certain person/situation was actually the thing that hurt the most. It is okay to give up on things that no longer serve you. Take a quiet moment and really think about the people and circumstances in your life; think about all the things that do not fill you with joy, leave you drained and make you feel bad. And then try your best to distance yourself from these toxic elements. It will take some time, because sometimes it is not that easy but it is absolutely worth it.
