- when you’re outside, notice things on purpose to smile about
- make up stories about strangers passing by
- when you’re speaking to someone: rather than overthinking about yourself, find traits that are beautiful about them and listen deeply to what they’re not saying
- be genuine, and if you feel like you’re genuinely cynical and negative, find ways to heal yourself and change your view on the world
