I’ve had scoliosis, took 2 years to heal. I have to tell, you’re going to need an orthopaedic corset, there’s no way it’s gonna go away with just pilates and posture exercises. So save a bit of money for that, they’re not very expensive, usually they are around 200-300 at least where I live. After that, it’s highly unlikely it will come back😊 Ask your doctor if you’ll need a full one (neck included) or just to cover the bust, and ask for shops where to buy it. Hope this helped!

Ah, thanks for the info and advice. 🙂 I’m sorely aware of my body leaning to the left now that I know what’s up. I keep seeing things online about how braces are largely for children and people who get… Read moreI’ve had scoliosis, took 2 years to heal. I am writing a story about an abandoned house. Do you have any ideas of why the house wouldn’t be taken down? Especially if it has been there for a long time. And if kids would be able to go into the house to explore.

Hmmmm… I would guess that maybe the paperwork hasn’t gone through. When people die, the legal matters get really complicated. Maybe they still need to pay their estate taxes, or there’s some matter in the will that’s contradictory. The will… Read moreI am writing a story about an abandoned house. How do you create characters? Or do they come find you and tell you their stories?

I’m afraid it varies! It really depends on the situation. It feels too pragmatic to sound creative but too creative to sound pragmatic. On the creative end, sometimes the characters do come to me. But they usually aren’t presenting their stories… Read moreHow do you create characters? Or do they come find you and tell you their stories?

hi! so i finished most of my nanowrimo novel but i’m really struggling with the ending now. i had an outline when i started but the novel has changed so much as i wrote that the ending i had originally doesn’t really fit and i almost feel like my conflict has no real solution now. i’ve tried giving my novel space and i still feel just as lost. any advice to solving a conflict that seems unsolvable? thanks!

Hey there! So, I recently saw an article about sort of outlining novels/fantasy on a bullet journal. You would take notes on characters, geography, plot, progress and all. But I was a bit busy when I saw it, so I lost the article. Would you happen to know any posts about bullet journaling for a writer/novel/fantasy? It would reeeeaaally help me! Thank you!!!

So I’m starting college applications early, which gives me all the more time to completely freak out about everything. Anyways, I run a pretty successful writing blog (I think) and I wanted to put it on the application since it’s really important to me. Do you think I should include my URL? Because there are some expletives used in my writing (for a purpose, nothing is thrown in just for the heck of it) and I’m afraid that might hurt my chances. What’s your opinion on this?

The good thing about starting early is that you can take your time and make sure you do everything how you want it to! Use that as a comforting thing, not a stressful thing. Hello! I was wondering if you could answer some of my questions about the college experience to help me with my series. I feel asking about someone’s actual experience is a better, more personalized source, so thank you for taking the time to help me! (This most likely will be divided into two parts due to length.) Feel free to ignore any question you feel is too personal. I’ll understand! What are some difficulties a college freshman may face, and how would one overcome these difficulties?… (1)
