I’m the kind of weirdo who has to do it all in order and then revise later with new information and dialogue. XD… Read moreFor the anon of this post post/127573075279 – For me, it’s always easier to write out the scenes I see clearly (which is what I’m doing now), write the ending, and then go back to the beginning. Sometimes when I’m stuck on the beginning, it’s because I’m missing key information that’s needed and I find that while writing out other parts. Of course, everyone has different techniques that work for them and finding out what they are can be difficult.

If you can, try to get some friends together–preferably as many as the characters in your scene–and see how they interact with each other. Does anyone stay quiet and only occasionally talk? Does anyone comment on this? Does anyone try… Read moreWhen I write a scene with more than just a couple characters, I find it hard to include them all. Usually the people with more personality or the people who are more important to the story take over the dialogue. Idk how to put in input from others
