I have weird idea for a multiple book series. I am planning on the first several books to be able to stand alone and be read in any order. Each introduces a single character and their powers/role. The final book/s would be about them finding each other and becoming a group to fight the big bad. The weird idea is that I want each of the first books to be written in a different genre style. 1st=ya fiction, 2nd=fantasy, 3rd=smutty romance, etc. Think I would lose audience with this, or can it work?
