I desperately want to write something with length and arcs and things like that but the disdain for my characters and my indifference to the situations I put them in has me at a loss. I imagine this might just be a failing of mine, and nature’s way of telling me to stick to shorter stories where all involved die at the end. Or maybe I’m missing something?

I’m very good at writing and I have great ideas, but when it comes to make them come true the beginning is easy but then, when I take a rest I never recall what I was doing (unless I need to, like for a class) and it bothers me because in the future, when I read what I had written I get mad at myself because it was good, but never got to finish it. I’m just not constant, can you give me an advice? Thanks!
