For the anon of this post post/127573075279 – For me, it’s always easier to write out the scenes I see clearly (which is what I’m doing now), write the ending, and then go back to the beginning. Sometimes when I’m stuck on the beginning, it’s because I’m missing key information that’s needed and I find that while writing out other parts. Of course, everyone has different techniques that work for them and finding out what they are can be difficult.

Thank you! 🙂 That’s definitely a good technique for people who don’t like working chronologically! I’m the kind of weirdo who has to do it all in order and then revise later with new information and dialogue. XD

So every time I TRY to write again these questions continue to claw at me from the back of my brain: What is the point of writing if no one is even going to read it? Also what validates your writing for you? Who do you write for? Others or yourself? What drives YOU personally to write?

Wow, you have a lot of questions! I’ll try to answer all of them. 🙂 It’s really, really hard to get people to read your writing online. I’ve had this blog for close to 4 years, and it’s only just… Read moreSo I actually have several questions but I’ll keep it simple.
