Okay, so I’ve been feeling vaguely dejected and mostly stressed about NaNo this year. I’ve been worrying about way too much other stuff to get any actual writing done. Yay for me. -.-
But last night, between 1 and 4 AM, I managed a whopping 3,581 words. That puts me at over 12,000, so I’m just under 8,000 words behind (not counting what I’m supposed to do for today, because that’s another 1,667 words I’m not ready to worry about).
I mostly let my main character go on a couple of tirades, but they were in character and semi-useful to the conversation that she was having. I’m sure most of it won’t get to stay in the book at any point, but it’s still me working and trying to do what I can. Writing crap is better than writing nothing at all. 🙂
If you put your mind to it, you can get a lot done. You can do it!
