Wow. This has been the worst NaNoWriMo for me since the year I started doing this thing.
Whatever discipline I had the past two years is just gone.
Yeah, I’m grading papers.
Yeah, I’m depressed.
But what kinds of excuses are those?
How can I look anyone in the eye when there are people with bigger things on their plate and they’re still rocking this thing?
My word count is still in the toilet. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving is apparently happening like at noon. It is Thanksgiving dinner, not lunch.
So that gives me a chance to write, I guess. I had time today. I just didn’t write.
I don’t even know why anymore.
