Does Anyone Have Any Good Posts on Religious Characters?

I’ve realized that almost all of the posts I’ve reblogged about writing religious characters are about either Muslim characters or Jewish characters, and I’m struggling to find good posts about basically any other type of characters. If people would like, I can write a post about Unitarian Universalism, but I was hoping people could point me to posts they have found useful/like/have made about religious characters. Specifically (though this will surely leave a lot of smaller ones out, and if you think I’ve left some out please point me to them):

  • Catholic characters
  • Protestant characters
  • (Or Christian characters in general, if you have one of those)
  • Orthodox (Eastern Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, etc.) characters
  • Hindu characters
  • Neo-pagan characters (Wiccan, Druid, etc.)
  • Buddhist characters
  • Shinto characters
  • Jain characters
  • Sikh characters
  • Characters from any indigenous religion that is comfortable with outsiders writing about them (PLEASE ONLY INCLUDE POSTS WRITTEN BY PEOPLE FROM THAT COMMUNITY WHO HAVE CLEARLY SAID THEY’RE OKAY WITH IT BEING SHARED. THIS IS GENERALLY TRUE, BUT ESPECIALLY TRUE IN THIS CASE)

One thing everyone needs to remember about writing Christian Characters is that there are many different branches. Baptist, Presbyterian, non denominational, Lutheran, and a few others. All these different branches have subtle differences in beliefs that a fist glance don’t seem like a big deal, but make a big difference the more you look at it.

ALSO some Christians are very conservative, others are extremely progressive. So it is up to you to decide how progressive you want your character to be. Just don’t think that your Christian character has to be a super modest, or anti LGBT+ or anti abortion, or doesn’t believe in science.
